主讲人:Santiago Marco 教授
西班牙巴塞罗那大学
主讲人简介:
Prof. Santiago Marco received his University degree in applied physics in 1988 and the Ph.D. degree in microsystem technology from the University of Barcelona in 1993. From 1993 to 1995, he held a European Human Capital Mobility grant for a postdoctoral position at the Department of Electronic Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata, working on electronic noses. In 1995, he joined the Department of Electronics at the University of Barcelona as an Associate Professor of Electronic Instrumentation. In 2004, he spent a sabbatical year at AIRBUS, Innovation Works, Munich, working on ion mobility spectrometry. In 2008, he was appointed as the Leader of the Signal and Information Processing for Sensing Systems Laboratory at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia. Since March 2020, he has been a Full Professor of Electronic Instrumentation at the Department of Electronics and Biomedical Engineering, University of Barcelona. His research interests include the development of signal/data processing algorithmic solutions for smart chemical sensing-based in sensor arrays or spectrometers. He has published around 120 archival journal articles and around 250 conference papers. His current research is supported by various national and international funding agencies.
Prof. Santiago Marco was President, vice president of International Society for Olfaction and Chemical Sensing (ISOCS), and right now he is the European Regional Chair of International Society for Olfaction and Chemical Sensing (ISOCS), group leader at the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC).
