Two more students of grade 2017 in SMCE were enrolled in the 3+1+1 program of NUS

Recently, good news came from Suzhou Research Institute of National University of Singapore. Two more students of grade 2017 were enrolled in the "3 + 1 + 1" program of National University of Singapore.

The National University of Singapore is a famous world-class university in Asia, ranking 11th in the 2020qs world university ranking (the first in Asia). The "3 + 1 + 1" project of National University of Singapore is an agreement project under the framework of the cooperation agreement between Chongqing University and National University of Singapore. It is a joint training project for undergraduate and postgraduate students in electronic and communication engineering. It cultivates communication electronic professionals with comprehensive quality and international vision, so as to promote the internationalization of undergraduate education. The project adopts the "3 + 1 + 1" mode for professional degree joint training: in the first three years, students are required to complete relevant undergraduate studies in school of microelectronics and communication engineering of Chongqing University; in the fourth academic year, students enter Suzhou Institute of National University of Singapore for bridging course study and academic research; students who meet the entrance qualification of Electrical Engineering Department of Singapore university will begin graduate studies In the 5th academic year, including completing all the credits, thesis writing and defense. After satisfying all the requirements, students can obtain the corresponding bachelor's degree and master's degree from Chongqing University and National University of Singapore, respectively.
