Major

Electronic Information Engineering

This major is a state-level characteristic major building base, which includes signal processing, electronic system design, bioelectronics, and communication electronics, with aims to cultivate senior creative engineering and scientific research talents who should master signal and information processing, electronic system design, basic theory, methods and skills of biological information processing, and is capable of dealing with electronic information system design, information processing, research development and enterprise management, etc.

The main courses consist of: a series of courses on circuit theory and computer technology, embedded real-time operating system, TV technology, digital image processing, digital communication principle, computer communication network, specific IC design, and high-speed electronic system design and signal analysis, etc.

Communication Engineering

This major includes two areas: broadband network and wireless communication, with aims to cultivate senior creative engineering and scientific research talents who should master the basic theory of modern communication and modern communication technology such as network communication and mobile communication, and is capable of dealing with the study on modern communication theory, the design and manufacture of modern communication system, product development and enterprise management, etc.

The main courses consist of: a series of courses on circuit theory and computer technology, embedded real-time operating system, digital communication principle, modern communication system, computer communication network, information theory and coding theory basis, mobile communication system, microwave and optical fibre technology basis, switching technology, broadband wireless access technology, and satellite communication, etc.

IC Design and Integrated System

This aim of this major is to cultivate senior engineering and scientific research talents who should master IC fundamental theory, fundamental skills and EDA tools IC design, be familiar with the systematical knowledge about circuit, computer, signal processing and communication, and be capable of investigating, designing, teaching, developing and applying the integrated circuit.

The main courses consist of: a series of courses on circuit theory and computer technology, embedded real-time operating system, solid state physics, semiconductor physics, microelectronic device, analog IC principle and design, digital IC principle and design, principle of IC technology, IC test and pack, etc.
